Boracay Island is known for its fine white sand and beautiful sceneries. As well as, numerous beach activities such as snorkeling, kite boarding, surfing, scuba diving and the like. It is also known for its wild night life. It is the perfect spot for relaxation, honeymoons, semestral breaks and adventures.

Palawan is known for it’s beautiful beaches, of which are the two – El Nido and Coron. Palawan is the last frontier of the Philippines and is abundantly blessed with the most beautiful scenic views. El Nido and Coron are known for their limestone karts, powder-fine beaches, clear waters, cliffs, caves and waterfalls. As well as their aquatic diversity – with over 50 different species of corals, fish and sea creatures. It’s an paradise in itself that can bring tears to one’s eyes.
Coron was awarded the Top 10 Best Scuba Diving Sites in the World by Forbes Traveler Magazine. El Nido on the other hand, was awarded the Best Beach and Island destination in the Philippines by CNN International and also made it to CNN’s list of world’s best beaches (2013).
People can travel via ferry directly to the place, as well as take a plane. El Nido has a direct flight from Manila while a bus from Busungua (where you land) to Coron is needed.
According to CNN the image of Palaui is “Glorious white sands meet volcanic rocks and blue-green waters topside, while coral gardens and a rich marine reserve meet divers under the surface. Palaui is all about raw beauty.”
“Treks to get there require battling thorny grass, muddy ground and a mangrove forest…. With no resorts or hotels, Palaui has only two real options: camping under the stars or home stays,” it added.
Visitors can get to Palaui Island by plane direct flight to Tuguegarao. Bus from Manila direct to Sta. Ana or bus to Tuguegarao. From Tuguegarao, a bus or van will take you to Barangay San Vicente in Sta. Ana. Fishing boats can be rented for a ride to the island itself.
5. PANGLAO ISLANDS
Panglao Islands, also known as, the Unexplored Paradise of Bohol, is considered one of the to go places after seeing the Chocolate Hills. One great beach to visit is the Alona Beach, known for its clear blue waters and diving sights. Baliscag Reef is the go-to spot of all scuba divers.
By air, one get get there directly from Manila to Tagbilaran/Cebu then take a ferry to the area.
Siargao Island, is known as The Surfing Capital of the Philippines – located in Surigao Del Norte. This island and the surrounding islands offer clean and pristine beaches with very high waves. Surfers flock here because of the main attraction Cloud 9. The best surfing waves that can reach up to 20 feet and thick tubes that can curl up to 12 feet.

You read and saw that right! Pink Beach is named after its pink sand! This beautiful beach is found in Zamboanga City in Mindanao. It is the Philippines’ only pink sand beach – its faint pink color is the result of red coral mixed with fine white sand. The waters are clear and a mix of turquoise, deep blue and emerald. This beach is very exclusive as well.
To get to the beach, one can take a plane to Mindanao, then a bus to the area.
8. BALESIN
Balesin is located east of Mauban, Quezon beside the Polillo Islands and resides near one of the richest and undisturbed fishing grounds in the Pacific. It offers an abundant view of rain forests, coconut trees and other wild plants. As well as white sand beaches and coves formed by coral rock formations. They also have abundant aquatic life, that can be observed in their private coves under clear water. The weather is generally sunny in Balesin, which means the sea is generally calm, making it fit for water activities such as boating. At night, one can enjoy the view of the star filled sky.
What makes Balesin different is the lack of noise and karaoke bars at tight, and also its exclusivity. And it also offers different themed villas.

Camiguin Island was formed from volcanic activity from the mountain that looms over it – Mt. Hibok-Hibok. White Island is one of its major attractions, a sandbar that changes shape when the tides change. There is also a shoal that is known for its aquatic view. Camiguin is known as “Garden of Eden” and is known for The Cross at the Sunken Cemetary.
